My setup is a Samsung Tab A 8 mounted in the car to provide a constant WiFi hotspot that the dash cam is configured to connect to. I also have configured my home WiFi so the dash cam can use that also. 1. WebSep 30, 2024 · Just insert a SIM card in the reader accessed by removing the mount, activate the SIM from the BlackVue App and you are good to go. No need for a separate Wi-Fi LTE hotspot. Better yet, no need to worry about powering an external hotspot. Note that you will need to get a Nano-SIM card with data plan for the dashcam.
